Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Whale VPN (the 'Service,' 'we,' or 'us') handles personal information through the mobile application (the 'App'). We collect only what is reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes, we may process approximate location information. This data is used for: 1. node recommendations based on Whale VPN's network; 2. performance analysis through aggregated and anonymized connection trends; 3. service communications such as security notices, product updates, and subscription reminders.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. We do not share personal information with third parties except when required by law, necessary to protect users or investigate fraud, or when working with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, uninstall the App through your device settings.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable period afterward. To delete your account or personal profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that such information was collected unintentionally, we will take steps to delete it. Guardians may contact us through the same email address.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as regulations, product features, or business operations change. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. This policy is effective as of October 4, 2025. Questions or suggestions can be sent to the Whale VPN team at [email protected].
